Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
ServiceAlly ("ServiceAlly," "we," "us," or "our") provides marketing, lead-capture, and customer-communication systems for local home-service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information:
- (a) our own website visitors and leads — people who visit serviceally.ai and submit our forms (for example, the free website & lead audit request); and
- (b) end users of our clients' businesses — people who contact or submit forms to a home-service business that uses the ServiceAlly platform to capture and respond to leads.
For category (b), the client business is the owner of that information and ServiceAlly acts as a service provider processing it on the client's behalf. This policy describes our practices in both roles.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the service:
- Contact information — name, phone number, email address, and mailing/service address or ZIP.
- Project details — the service you're interested in, message content, and information you choose to include in a form or conversation.
- Communications — the content of calls, SMS/text messages, and emails exchanged with us or with a business using our platform, including timestamps and delivery status.
- Website usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics data collected through cookies or similar technologies.
We do not collect payment card numbers on our website; billing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe).
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiry, provide a requested audit, and follow up about our services;
- Enable the businesses that use our platform to receive, respond to, and follow up on leads (including automated text and email replies, appointment booking, and reminders);
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and account or service-related messages;
- Send you SMS text messages where you have opted in (see Section 4);
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. SMS / text messaging
We only send text messages to people who have opted in. When you submit a form on our website (or on a business's website that uses our platform) and consent to receive text messages, you agree to receive SMS messages related to your inquiry, appointment, or service — which may include automated messages.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for help.
- Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive service by phone or email.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver the messages you've consented to (either from ServiceAlly or from the specific business you contacted).
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. We share information only as follows:
- With the client business you contacted — if you submit a lead to a home-service business that uses our platform, your information is shared with that business so they can respond to and serve you.
- With service providers — vendors that help us operate the service under contract, such as our communications platform (GoHighLevel), payment processor (Stripe), email/SMS delivery providers, and analytics providers. These providers may process data only to perform services for us.
- For legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ServiceAlly, our clients, or others.
- In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Leads and communications processed on behalf of a client business are retained according to that business's instructions.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of SMS — reply STOP to any text message.
- Opt out of marketing email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correct, or delete — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us (see Section 12). If your information was submitted to a client business, we may direct your request to that business as the data owner.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We honor applicable rights requests and do not discriminate against you for exercising them.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
